Hope from our high Preist

First I want to say that for the last month I have been Praying and hoping for Rain.  I was reading my bible today. and I read a certain passage In Hebrews that touched my heart.
Hebrews 6:18-20  "in order that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, We may have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge in laying hold of the HOPE set before us.  This HOPE which is an anchor of the soul, a HOPE both sure and stead fast and one which enters with in the veil, Where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us. having become the high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."
First thing I noticed was that he said that this Hope enters the veil.   In the old testament only the high priest could enter there. only once a year.  it was the holy of holies; the place where the arch was. Behind that certon was were God dwelt. it was not a good place to go uninvited by sure.  The Priests would fast, and tie a a rope around there ankle before entering, in hopes that God would find favor, and their comrades would not have to pull them out dead.  this was a scary place.  However, God gave us this Hope.  A Hope so strong that with it we can enter the holy of holies Whenever we need. Jesus Already entered there and tore away the Veil, leaving it wide open for us to come.  It is an amazing thing to Know that we can be in the presence of God, that forbidden place, and know that he loves us, and that he is gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in love. This hope is the Hope I have. and just now in rained here in West Point NE.  First rain in over a month.  YES this is the AWESOME God I serve.

Happenings

So over the last month that I have not blogged many exciting things have happened!
First, I have a new nephew. born 6/22/2012. Totally adorable!

Secondly, We Took a Saturday afternoon to go fishing swimming, and floating down the river. (about two miles.)

Thirdly, We MOVED!!!!!!  We now rent this Totally awesome house. (front veiw)
More of the front view with the deck. The house was originally a farm house out by dodge, how ever, the owner moved it from Dodge to West Point. So it has yet to have a yard with grass. :-)
The deck.  It is very nice.
And yes we have our own mail Box now.  all mail welcome!!

We have a gigantic living room. Above is one side, and below is the other.
Since they are still working on the outside of the house, I only have one metal flower, in fear that my real flowers would get trampled of planted. :-)
And thus The happenings of the late month of June, early July. Will try to post again soon.
