fishing

Last Saturday Daniel, and I took my brother-in law (David) and his friends fishing in Yankton.

Some how I managed to catch the biggest fish that was keepable. I also forgot to bring my camera, so this is the only picture from our awesome adventure!  we caught come pretty crazy looking water beasts, ate at the Chinese buffet, and did not get home till 1am. FUN!

The hog roast

A good old friend of ours had a hog roast in honer of the barn my dad built for him. and in honer of my dad. ;-)

 Eating, there was tons of food. Pork, Saleds and ICE CREAM!

 Playing Bachi ball(I think that is how one spells it)  This game that is kinda like pool, but on the ground with much bigger balls. It was fun!

 My Grandpa Ron gave us these awesome pots as a wedding gift. there was a set of like 10 and they are just amazing to cook with.

 They make good hats too...lol they are fun to pose with when one must get there picture taken!

 Timo and Becca have been my life savers like two weeks in a row. When i felt like crap, they came and helped me do my Saturday cleaning...

 Yep, they are awesome!

 My Dear sister Leah, and my dear friend Laura both graduated highschool with NCHEA this last weekend. Here is the class of 2012! Really proud of you both.

A little Blessing from God

A Weekend Out

We went to Omaha last weekend.

 First we went out to eat at the China Buffet

                    Really good food!

 Then we went to the Movies

 For reals that is the theature back there. Ignore the truck...

then we stayed the night in Saville Plaza Best Western Hotel

 How ever before checking in to our hotel, we checked out some of the totally cool cars we would like to own. lol  Hands Down for Mini Coopers. I<3 them!

 And this BMW is Gorgeious! If I were to own a BMW it would be this one. :)

 The next day we went to Rosie's 8th Birthay party.  which happened to be a pool party

 Almost all of the family was there. Including this Cuttie pants neice of mine. Aint she adorable!!

 We all hung out and had pizza.

 Then Daniel and I left, and we wandered around down town.... bought some fishes and a fish tank...hung out with some really good friends, and went home!  My Camera had retired by then so I have no Photos of those advetures!

Sunday Stroll Adventure

I love walking. I love going on walks, and seeing Gods creation every where. I love looking at His beauty and magnitude in nature. Last Sunday i got the pleasure of doing this with some one very sweet

.we went to Dead Timber. a Park about 7 miles out of West Point.

 The Water was a gorgeous blue. It was so clear. I remember coming to this place when I was real young. and the only thing I remember about it was that you could never catch any fish, and that its name was Dead Timber. ....

AS young as I was (maybe 5 or 6) I could not figure out how some one could name a place so beautiful something with the name "Dead" in it.  I still could not figure that out, till just a few days ago. I was thinking of other beautiful things that had to die.  First I thought of our very own Jesus Christ. How he died for us and how beautiful was that picture of an ugly death...

 Then I thought about our flesh and how to be beautiful in Christ we must continually put that to death. And I finally understood why Some one would call such a beautiful place. Dead.

 P.S. We also had a very enjoyable/ romantic walk. ;-)
